What Is HFFS Machine?
HFFS machine is a generally concept of a type of packing machine, HFFS stand for Horizontal, Form, Fill, Seal.

How Does Flow Wrapper Work?
A flow wrapper basically consists of 2 parts, a feeding channel, and a packaging section.
Feeding channel of the flow wrapper:
The feeding channel will be tailored depending on products characteristics and required speed.
What characteristics will affect the feeding method of a flow wrapper?

Different flow wrapper speed needs call for different feeding methods for flow wrappers:

Packaging section of the flow wrapper:
The packaging section is consists of 3 parts:
- Film part
Packaging film will be loaded on the film seat, and cross through the film rollers, then be formed with the film former and connect with the fin seal part and cross seal part, the chain and pushers pins will bring product come across the film roller to get products into the film, then go over the fin seal part and cross seal part to form a perfect package.
- Fin seal part
The fin seal part has 2 or 3 sets of fin seal rollers, each fin seal roller is a heating roller, when the film crosses the heating roller, hot seal film will be heated and get melted to stick to each other to form a hermetic fin seal of the package, then the film roller will pull the film go-ahead to cross seal part.
- Cross seal part
The cross seal part is a sealing jaw with the number of sealing knives on the head, the quantity of sealing knives depends on the product length, for bar products, usually 1 or 2 cutting knives, for small chocolates or candies, will have 4 or 5 cutting knives.Each sealing jaw knife head has a heating function, when the film comes from the fin seal part as 1 line to cross the sealing jaw, the sealing jaw will start work and rolling to cut the film as required cutting length, at the same time, the sealing jaw will heat the film to make them stick together to form hermetic sealing packages.
